At TKD Solicitors, we have a long record of looking after domiciliaries & non-domiciliaries in the UK.
We provide help in many areas:
Probates:
Our fees are based on the Law Society guidelines on probate work which recommend to calculate fees on hourly basis plus a percentage of the value of the UK estate. However, often times here at TKD we would operate on a fixed fee basis. The fixed fee quoted will be determined based on the anticipated hours of work and the exact nature and complexity of the matter. Where you have elected to be charged based on time spent working on your matter or in exceptional circumstances whereby we have not provided you with a quote, the hourly rate will depend on the seniority of the solicitor assigned to your matter.
Disbursements included in this fee:
Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as court fees. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.
If there is no will or the estate consists of any share holdings (stocks and bonds) there is likely to be additional costs that could range significantly depending on the estate and how it is to be dealt with. We can give you a more accurate quote once we have more information.
If any additional copies of the grant are required, they will cost £1.50 each
Dealing with the sale, transfer or distribution of any estate assets will be quoted separately.
